The Guineaion
( Guinea Pig Lion )
Ladies and gentlemen!!! Introducing... The Guineaion!! This amazing scientific discovery has people excited and curious about this new discovery. Scientists are still researching this creature, but I can tell you a few things in this article:
The Characteristics
This is a picture of a Guineaion. His face looks like a guinea pig, but the body looks like a lion. Personality traits of this animal is that he isn't social to any other species, he sleeps at night, he's an herbivore, and he's very shy. The Guineaion eats a variety of plants such as grass, bushes, leaves, berries, and a whole bunch more! His length is four feet, He weighs 250 pounds, and his height is three feet. The life expectancy of the Guieaion is believed to be 50 years old, but scientists are still unsure.
Amazon Rainforest
The Guineaion was not found in the Amazon, he was found in Russia! Scientists thought it would be a better idea if he lived in the Amazon because of animals, plants, climate, and easier research. You learn more about his journey to a whole new land in the next column. Even though the Guineaion is a herbivore, his strength and speed keeps other animals from doing harm to him. The climate in the Amazon is hot and humid. Temperatures vary through the year, but one thing stays the same, it rains everyday!
Adaptations
As you can see in the first picture, it was snowing. Before the Guineaion lived in the amazon rainforest, he lived in Russia!! Scientists moved him over to the Amazon Rainforest because it was very hard to research in Russia. This was a major transition and many scientists were hesitant at first, but the Guineaion adapted!! He shed some of his fur and usually stays in the shade. The Guieaion loves that there are lots of plants because in Russia, it was very hard to find food that wasn't frozen! Another big change was the animals. In Russia, there are Brown Bears, Grey Wolves, and the Wild Boar. While in the Amazon, there are animals such as the Spider Monkey, Giant River Otter, Giant Anteater, and the Jaguar. The Guineaion was hunted by the Brown Bear in Russia, and now he's not hunted by anything. It's much more safer for the Guineaion in his new home, the Amazon!
All in all, the Guineaion is an amazing animal! There are many more things to learn, and this was definitely a successful discovery! Scientists are so excited and are looking forward to learning about the Guineaion!
