Big picture

Step Right Up!

If you have an item for the carnival donation, please send it in tomorrow. Tomorrow is the last day for donations to count toward the classroom GLOW parties. Also, classes that reach 25 points get to remove a number in the hallway to reveal our surprise dunking booth participants! The students will be super excited to see who will be joining us at the JAE Carnival on Saturday March 2nd!

Benefit at Bluegrass

Tickets are still available for the Benefit at Bluegrass. The event is on February 22nd, and you won't want to miss it! You may purchase individual tickets, or go in with a group to get a table. Don't miss out on live and silent auctions, socializing with the most wonderful parents and staff on the planet, and some amazing entertainment. It is honestly one of my favorite nights of the year! Send in cash or check with the form, or go online and purchase at www.biddingforgood.com/jaecarnival .

Spirit Night Monday, February 11th

Tomorrow is Spirit Night at Buffalo Wild Wings in Hendersonville. Start the week off with an easy dinner!

Lollipop Sale

5th Graders will be selling lollipops for $1 until they are all sold. Most of the time, it only takes a few days before they are gone. The money the students raise helps sponsor the 5th Grade Just Say No social event.

Reminder Concerning Valentine's Day

Students may exchange Valentines, but please do not send flowers or balloons. Not only are those items a distraction, they are also not allowed on the buses. Thank you for understanding.

Thank You to Billy Hix!

On Tuesday, former NASA scientist Billy Hix shared his expertise on all things outer space with JAE 5th Graders. He brought his mobile planetarium and totally blew our minds. Mr. Hix is the founder of STEM Outreach with the Motlow College Foundation. He travels the state to share his love of space with students. He will visit 120 schools over the course of the school year. We were honored to be on his list of lucky schools.
