Placement Input for the 2023-2024 School Year
Dear Parents:
As we approach the end of the school year, one of our most important responsibilities is to place our children in new classes for next year. Our staff will review the educational needs of every child in order to provide the best instructional placement for all children. It is a complicated process that we take very seriously.
Although teachers and other staff have closely observed your child in the classroom environment, this is your opportunity to share information from a parent’s perspective. If you have information that you would like to share with us as we go through the placement process, please email Mrs. Pellicone, hpellicone@region15.org, or send in a letter ON OR BEFORE FRIDAY, MAY 5, 2022.
Here are some important guidelines:
This letter is optional. Our staff will look at each child’s individual needs
whether or not you submit a letter.
This is not a request for a specific teacher, nor is it a request for your child to be placed with specific friend groups.
Please do not call staff about progress in the placement process or seek information about placements prior to the letters being sent out before the next school year.
Final placement rests with the administration and staff and is based upon many variables. However, if you would like to contribute input to the placement process, it is important to take advantage of this opportunity.
Sincerely,
Heather Pellicone
Principal
