Levelland High School received an 'A' rating from the Texas Education Agency for the '21-'22 school year! High school accountability ratings are determined by both STAAR performance scores and College, Career, & Military Readiness scores. LHS is one of two large high schools (4a-6a) in this region to receive an A rating!
Danae Burton
Highest Degree Earned: Master's Degree in Mathematics
Teaching & Coaching Assignments: Dual Credit Math Instructor
Background Information: Mrs. Burton is a 2016 graduate of LHS! She has attended SPC and Texas Tech University for her undergraduate and graduate degrees.
Most Interesting Thing About Mrs. Burton: Mrs. Burton and her husband visited his family in Guatemala last summer for one month. They got to explore the country and climbed the 1000 year old Mayan ruins at Takal!
Kicking Off The New School Year!
LISD Teacher Convocation got things started on the right foot with a message from Lubbock Christian University's Dr. David Fraze! Tennis, Volleyball, Cross Country, Marching Band, and Football all started with two-a-day practices at the beginning of August.

Congratulations to our Homecoming court, senior court Heidi Marquez, Laci White, and Chloe Constantino, our junior attendee Mikaela Browder, our sophomore attendee Addison Campbell, and our Freshman attendee Jazlyn Diaz. Our ushers included Ladarian Jordan, Eryk Jones, Gage Potter, Zameron Lecroy, Rusty Johnson, and Matthew Bautista. Don’t they all look amazing!
Lobo athletics has kicked off for the school year! Congratulations to Evalyn Jasso on joining the Century Club and achieving her 100th career tennis win! Volleyball is off to strong start with a 3-0 record in district! Cross country is turning heads with strong performances at the Sundown and Slaton meets! Football kicks off district play with Perryton here in Levelland on Friday! Come out and help lead our Lobos to a win!
