4th Grade Origami Butterfly Display
Students in 4th grade enjoyed making butterflies in different sizes for our display this month in the lobby. They learned the reward of being precise with their Origami folding pays off with great results!
4th Grade PBL in the tech Lab - The Goldrush! How did the gold rush change California’s economy?
Come see the 4th grade PBL in the tech Lab featuring the gold rush. Students learned about the entrepreneurs of that day. For their final presentation they created a gold rush town and shared the history of that era. They learned how people made more money in business than mining for gold.

2nd Grade Chair Designs
Students in 2nd grade designed a theme for their chairs by making a drawing on paper and then building them from foam board, index paper, pipe cleaners and markers.
Preschool creates springtime flowers!
Students used a variety of materials to create these beautiful springtime flowers. Oil crayons, watercolor paints, tissue paper, and google eyes were used in these art projects.
3rd grade is busy with their PBL.
Students in the 3rd grade are wrapping up their project which will be on display in a couple of weeks. Research and collaboration are a big part of this interesting project about Sacramento. This project integrates Social Studies and History with Mrs. Poole and Art with Mrs. Howell.

Kindergarten paints abstract!

Students are enjoying our painting project with shapes. They are painting in a freehand style without tracing to create an abstract painting with shapes. This colorful artwork is inspired by Hans Hoffman's Image of Cape Cod.
