A Great Week!

Eight students from Room 9 chose to participate in the May Reading Challenge. Don't forget...the MINUTES READ form is due Monday, May 7.
All third grade classes will hold a WRITING GALLERY for parents on May 25 from 11:00-11:40. We look forward to sharing our writing with you on this day.
Some AMAZING things I saw this week in Room 9:
- Riya approached me earlier in the week to discuss her writing and to ask for help coming up with a plan for finishing because she will be gone for several days this month. She was very proactive!
- Jack is working VERY hard on his Fairy Tale. He makes great choices during writing time to move to a quiet space to help him focus and meet his daily writing goal.
- Cole's leadership skills were in full swing this week as he helped his team get organized in creating their game for Word Study!
- Addi LOVES being a part of the Debate Team. She does a great job thinking of evidence to support her claims.
- Austin's excellent behavior NEVER strays off course. These May days at school can be long in anticipation of summer break, but Austin's self-control and determination to learn keep him on course daily!
- We all received a compliment from Mrs. Crider after art class today. She LOVES my class and always has great things to say about their behavior!
Looking forward to a GREAT week next week!
Enjoy your weekend...
