Lines Composed A Few Miles .....
by: William Wordsworth
this poem does not have any type of rhyming scheme, it's free verse
This poem has a lot of imagery, it even starts off describing this beautiful city that the poet used to live in. Whike he lived there, he was always cooped up ans never really got to explore that often so he relied on the beauty of the city for his happiness. As he revisits this place, he remembers the sound of the mountain springs, and the steep and lofty cliffs.
The tone in this poem is tranquil, contemplative and filled with longing for his past.
point of view
