Teacher and Paraprofessional of the Year

We present to you our wonderful Teacher of the Year, Stephanie Fernandez, and Paraprofessional of the Year, Amy Long! These ladies have such a tremendous impact on our campus and strive to become better and better each and every day. We could not have better representatives of greatness. Thank you for all you do for our campus, staff, and students!!!

Baby Chicks

We have 8 baby chicks! The students are excited to watch them grow. Thank you Mrs. Fernandez for setting up the incubators and thank you Mr. McEwin for building them a home!

Special Olympics

Today, 13 of our students participated in Special Olympics Track & Field held in Melissa. All of our students received a medal in the running and field events. Our girls won the 4x100m relay and our boys finished fourth in the relay. Asia Taylor received all gold medals: 200m dash, running long jump, and 4x100m relay. Miguel threw the shot put for a distance of 15'11" Leonard Garcia threw the mini javelin a distance of 11.58m. Congratulations our athletes! Panther proud!

Congratulations to our track teams for their performances in Monday's district track meet.

Their results are as follows:

7th grade girls - 1st place

7th grade boys - 3rd place

8th grade girls - 2nd place

8th grade boys - 1st place

Lost and Found

There are many unclaimed items in our lost and found. Please encourage your child to check and see if there is anything that belongs to them. We also encourage you to put your child's name on the tag of his or her coat, or sweatshirt, and lunchbox to minimize the chance of losing it.
