Fun pictures of a few library happenings

December's School Theme

Study hall teachers & classroom teachers, please allow up to 5 students at a time to visit the library to participate in #RAK (random acts of kindness). I will have passive activities for them to do with the goal of reinforcing Mr. McShane's monthly theme.

Teachers, if you would like to visit the library as a class to #RAK, please let me know when you would like to come and I will put you in the library schedule! If we plan ahead, we can make it an interdisciplinary lesson that includes lessons in civility while still backing up what you are doing in your classrooms!

HOUR OF CODE WITH MRS. KARIAN

Monday, Dec. 10th 2018 at 8:30am to Friday, Dec. 21st 2018 at 3:15pm

TMS Library

Hour of Code is an opportunity for every student to try computer science. The global push is one hour, but at TMS library we are going to take that up a notch and have TWO WEEKS of Hour of Code!

I have created two options for you and your students:

1) You can treat it like you would a typical class and sign up for the library the usual way. We will do whole class computer science lessons/activities together.

2) Classroom & study hall teachers, you can send up to 5 students at a time to participate without scheduling. These students will participate in self guided and independent Hour of Code activities.
