In support of our mission, we want the students in our Region 14 communities to be future ready. To ensure that all of our learners are prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the 21st century, we have developed a common understanding of the skills and qualities that will help them to thrive in life.

Important Information
Greetings BES families,
Pictured at left are our wonderful bus drivers with Mrs. Y. Thanks to our PTO for sponsoring an appreciation breakfast! They perform a critical job in safely transporting our precious cargo to and from school.
We have Dr. Seuss Bingo this Weds 2/28 at 6PM in the BES Cafe, and next week March 4, we have an entire week of Read Across America theme days and fun activities! Please see the "Read Across America" pdf attached below. Reading logs were given to children today to bring home for the reading contest which runs until Friday 3/1.
February 28 is Science Day at BES! Packets were sent and emailed home and children are encouraged to dress as their favorite scientist! Please contact Mrs. Strell - cstrell@ctreg14.org if you have any questions.
When EdAdvance opens up their registration for afterschool care for next year, they will also be offering before school care. The before school care will run from 7:00 to 8:15 AM. For those who live in Bethlehem or attend BES, there will be a bus that will transport students from MES to BES. Please look for the flyers that EdAdvance will be sending out soon.
As a continued reminder, our drop off line in the mornings has been quite long and a little slower. We want to assist with getting everyone in on time. We ask that you please have your children ready (coats on, backpacks set) to exit your vehicle. We also have ample staff outside to assist your child/children for you in exiting the vehicles safely in order to expedite the line. Please remember this is the only drop off area in the morning prior to 8:25. No drop offs should be ocurring in the parking lot unless children are truly tardy and staff has gone into the building for safety purposes, and the handicapped spots must not be used without permit or blocked. Children will not be marked tardy if they were in the drop off line. Also, please remember to be good neighbors and not block driveways on East St. Thank you so much!
Please note the second trimester Progress Report distribution date has been changed to 3/18 due to snow days.
The BES Talent Show will be on April 4, 2024!
As always, if you have any concerns or comments please feel free to contact me directly at wyatsenick@ctreg14.org
