Your One Word
Thank you to those of you who have sent me your One Word for 2017 - I have loved reading them! If your having a hard time figuring out yours, try the 3 steps Jon Gordon recommend to discover your One Word:
1. Prepare Your Heart - unplug from the noise and ask yourself: What do I need?, What's in my way?, and What needs to go?
2. Discover Your Word - Now that your heart is ready, plug back in and listen and observe the things around you - this is when your One Word will come to you.
3. Live Your Word - Now that you've discovered your word, it's time to live it out. Jon Gordon says, "This is where the rubber meets the road!" Keep your one word in the front and center and write down 3 things you will do in order to have regular reminders of your word. Then share your word with others to help you be accountable in living out your word. This also falls under our Teacher Core Value of Treasured Relationships where we consistently hold each other accountable.
Send your One Word my way as soon as you discover the word that is meant for you in 2017!
A Peek At Last Week
Hands-on, inquiry Science.... oh my!
Donuts With Dad
Snow!
Since there is a BIG football game tomorrow night (Alabama vs. Clemson), let's have a "Wear Your Favorite College T-shirt Day".....with jeans of course! I will send an email blast to parents so the kids know too - if you get a chance to add it to your class website, that would be great too! That's all for now! Please let me know if I have left something out! Have a great week!
