Global Warming

we need to stop global warming before it stops us

What is Global warming?

A gradual increase in the overall temperature of the earth's atmosphere generally attributed to the greenhouse effect caused by increased levels of carbon dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, and other pollutants.

Thesis

Global warming is very harmful to the earth and increases the rate of natural disasters and also makes habitats harder to live in.

Why is it so dangerous?

Climate change is the greatest humanitarian crisis of our time, responsible for rising seas, raging storms, searing heat, ferocious fires, severe drought, and punishing floods. It threatens our health, communities, economy, and national security.

Why we have to act now?

Climate change is already beginning to transform life on Earth. Around the globe, seasons are shifting, temperatures are climbing and sea levels are rising. And meanwhile, our planet must still supply us – and all living things – with air, water, food and safe places to live. If we don't act now, climate change will rapidly alter the lands and waters we all depend upon for survival, leaving our children and grandchildren with a very different world.

Attempted solutions

  1. Create alternate power solutions instead of fossil fuels

  1. Recycle to prevent water and air pollution which contribute to global warming.

  1. Stop deforestation

My solution

Everything you're doing now like recycling and finding better power sources is the best thing we can at this time but its not going to happen over night its going to take time.

Conclusion

  1. Global warming is very dangerous to every living thing on earth and its not going to go away on its own.

  1. However, it doesn’t have to continue because if we keep working towards a permanent solution while recycling and stop harming the earth then it will stop

  1. This problem could be solved by doing something as simple as putting plastic in blue bins every week.

  1. Contact your lawmakers and ask them to become more strict and demanding of recycling.
