What a Great Year!

At this time the staff at Washington School would like to extend a hearty thank you to all of our students and parents for a great year. We accomplished a great deal together. You should all be proud of the way you learned and lived our school beliefs. It was wonderful to see your caring and cooperation as the year developed. Have a great summer and we will see you in the fall.

Staff Appreciation Week

Just a reminder that May 6th through the 10th is Staff Appreciation Week. Take a moment this week to express your thanks to the staff at Washington School.

PTA Reflections

Congratulations to Anna Sauvageau, Ranbeer Wadhwa, Maiya Valkov and Evelyn Schell for placing at the North Dakota PTA Reflections Program! All of them are now competing at the national round. Way to go! Find out how YOU can participate by visiting WashingtonPTA.net

Kindergarten Round-Up

Parents with students that will be enrolled in Kindergarten next year, please mark your calendar for our Kindergarten Round-Up. This year’s round up has been scheduled for Monday, May 16th from 6:00-6:45 at the school. Parents and students are invited to attend this informational event.

Library Books

You may want to remind your child to begin looking for and returning any library books you may have around the house.

Lost and Found

Parents, please encourage your child to check our lost and found carefully for lost items. We will be donating all lost and found items on Thursday, May 30th. If you have a moment feel free to stop by to see, if your family has any lost items.

Progress Reports

This year Progress Reports will be sent home with students on the last day of school Thursday, May 30. Parents are to watch for these reports on the final day.

Watch Dog Dads

A special Thanks to our Watch Dog Dads for another great year. Thanks for all you do to make dads an important part of our school.

Math Masters

We had two teams participating in Math Masters from Washington. There were 34 teams and 163 students at the event.


Washington Gold: Drew Burris, Isaac Cerney, Kenleigh Fischer, and Annika Lee

Washington Blue: Jordan Bunker, Hattie Liedberg, Aidan McEwen, and Owen Puhl


Recognitions:

Washington Gold placed 9th

Isaac Cerney placed 16th in the Fact Drill

Drew Burris placed 21st in the Fact Drill

Aidan McEwen placed 25th in the Individual Round

Classroom Notification Letters

Once again we will be sending notification letters to our students in August. We will be placing them in the mail on August 12th. It is our hope that this notice will help your child’s first day of school be a smooth one.

Back to School Night Scheduled

Back-to-School Night is scheduled for Tuesday, August 20, 2019 from 5:00-6:30 pm. Please mark your calendar for this important event.
