Warrior News
A Weekly Newsletter for Warrior Families and Students
December 13, 2019
Greetings Warrior Families and Friends,
What an awesome time of the year! Our Performing Arts Center has been jam-packed with the sounds of our amazing bands and choirs. The Salentine Gym and Natatorium have been filled with Warriors competing in the various winter sports. Most importantly, classrooms have been buzzing with powerful discussions and learning. Everywhere you look, you see Warriors learning, growing, and succeeding.
If you have not recently been here for an event, make sure to get here next week! For the first time ever, our choir program will be hosting two shows for the Memories of Home concert. We also host boys and girls basketball games, a wrestling match, swimming and diving meet, and girls hockey plays at the Tri-County Ice Arena. Your support and encouragement make our events special!
Have an awesome day and GO WARRIORS!

Toy Drive
Spanish National Honor Society toy drive to collect 1200-1400 gifts for children in 12 different villages in Mexico. This project was first organized by a group of people in Tucson, Az in 2001, who were familiar with these cities close to the border. Since then many other teachers and people travel to these villages every year to give school supplies and Christmas gifts. This is a very remote area of Mexico and it is likely that these are the only gifts that most children will receive. The Spanish National Honors Society's is very proud of its participation and we are happy to know our efforts will be greatly appreciated!
