The training will focus on how to interpret and use the data from the diagnostic assessment and how to use the print resources to help guide classroom instruction.

This will be your opportunity to share and give feedback regarding CO. This is completely optional.
Mac's Monthly Mission...
Your mission, if you choose to accept it is to utilize differentiated reading strategy groups (three different times).
You have to tweet using- #macsmonthlymission #parkstreetallin and @PSE_Principal showing your students in reading strategy groups (picture or video) THREE different times. Strategy groups should be differentiated (not the same strategy in each photo or video)
Mission Prize- Lunch from Panera Bread on 2/1.
Parent Volunteers starting in February...
We will have a copy request form in the mail room near the copier. Please complete the form, with your copy and leave it in the copy request bin. The volunteers will put your copies in your boxes once they are complete.
Our goal is to get more parent volunteers throughout the year.

- January 24th- iReady Training 2 (How to interpret diagnostic assessments and use materials in your classroom)
- January 28th- K-2 RUOS (8:30-10:30, 10:45-12:45, 1:30-3:30)
- January 30th- 3-5 RUOS (8:30-10:30, 10:45-12:45, 1:30-3:30)
- February 27th- Math in Practice PD with Ms. Robinson (Planning time)
- March 11th- Local School PD day (free day to plan and work in your rooms)

Panther Passport: Summer Learning Program & Kinder Camp
The first is Panther Passport: Summer Learning program for rising 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. The program will run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9-2:30. This will be an opportunity for students in enhance their academic growth and decrease any gaps in learning.
The second is our Panther Passport: Kinder Camp. The Kinder Camp would be for rising Kindergarten students and would run Tuesdays-Thursdays from 9-12. The goal of this program is to help our incoming Kindergarteners develop basic skills prior to beginning school.
If you are interested in helping to teach either program, please let me know.

1. Ms. Vogt Your classroom environment is so calm and welcoming. Your classroom library is very organized and easy for your students to access.
2. Ms. Plunkett Your small group reading lesson was great! You had your lesson plan handy and you managed your time with a timer. Awesome!!!
3. Ms. Olusegun You have a wonderful relationship with your students. It is easy to see that you love and care for them, academically as well as emotionally. Your students will never forget you!
4. Ms. V Your Units of Reading Mini Lesson was amazing! I loved how you used visuals to keep you on track! Your students were very engaged in the turn and talk and as you read. You kept to the 10 minute mini lesson and transitioned to independent reading smoothly! Nicely done!
5. Dr. Caldwell For supporting Sped and always there for us!
6. Mr. Johnson Thank you for being my right hand man and being able to wear so many hats! I couldn't keep MY hats on without your support.

11. Misty Neidig She has helped save my sanity on several different occasions this week. She was an amazing help with the Reading Bowl t-shirts, was flexible when testing didn't go quiet as planned, and generally is my right hand lady in all things. I couldn't do it without you. Thank you!
12. Ms. Bagwell Thank you so much for working hard this weekend to create an alternate schedule for iReady training.
