Saying Goodbye to Mrs. Duran
New Hope Christian School's will miss YOU!
Dear New Hope Families,
It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing this letter to inform you that on March 23, 2016, I turned in my letter of resignation, giving a two-week notice. My last day of employment will be April 8, 2016. Our Program Director, Candice Ellison, is working diligently to find a replacement, and I will assist her in any way that I can to ensure a smooth transition.
I am sorry that I will not be here to finish off the school year, but God has opened up a door for me as a Preschool Director starting immediately. This is a great opportunity for me and has always been my ultimate career goal. When God opens up a door, it may not always be on our terms and the timing may not always be as we would like, but it is His will.
I have been a part of New Hope Christian Schools since 1996, and it has been like a second home to me. I am blessed to have had the opportunity for all my children to attend school here and for me to begin a career in Early Childhood Development. It has been such a rewarding experience working with all the New Hope families in building a strong spiritual and academic foundation for their child.
This is one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make. I will truly miss all the New Hope families (some second and third generation), kids, and staff very much. It has brought me such great joy being a part of your child’s early years, and I thank you very much for that. New Hope Christian Schools will always be in my heart, and I am proud to have worked here and also to have been a part of all the strides and accomplishments that it has made. May it continue to grow and prosper in His name.
Many Blessings,
Thalia Duran
