District Business During Summer Months

The last day of school is June 4. Twelve month staff will be accessible during the summer months. When necessary, staff will be in the offices in shifts preparing for the next school year; however, for the safety of all, offices will be closed to visitors until further notice. Several buildings have maintenance projects happening and will not be accessible to staff during specific times. The Central Services Office is undergoing significant pre-planned work and the building will be closed to visitors until August. Twelve month employees are continuing to work at full capacity. Communications from District 41 will continue throughout the summer as plans are created for the fall.

Please remember to schedule your child for the required immunizations for the next school year. Click the below link for the latest updates from the DuPage Health Department.

8th Graders to Keep Chromebooks

As part of a multi-year technology plan approved by the Board of Education, students who are currently 8th graders do not need to return their Chromebooks to District 41. The Chromebooks are now the property of the students.

On June 4, the District will send instructions on how to remove Chromebooks from the District 41 network, so that graduating 8th graders can sign into the Chromebooks with regular gmail accounts. At 8:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22, 2020, District 41 will deactivate the Google accounts assigned to graduating 8th graders. Starting June 22, these students will no longer have access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, or any other Google applications using their d41 account logins.

Glen Ellyn Planters Feature District 41 Schools

Thank you to the Glen Ellyn Chamber of Commerce for choosing to feature and celebrate education on the planters around Glen Ellyn this spring and summer. District 41 families from each school decorated a planter that will be displayed downtown. This is a tradition dating back to the 70s. Thank you to our artistic families for taking the time and sharing your talent with the community!
