News from the PTO
WSD Restructuring Conversation
Tuesday, Nov. 15
in place of our regular PTO meeting
with childcare and refreshments
As you know, there is a conversation taking place in the WSD about how the school district can best serve students, staff members, families, and the community in the future. PTO Officers Margy Stahr and Jean Schult were invited to be part of the initial conversation during the summer months and are now able to share information with the Riverview community. Dr. Keith Hilts, WSD Superintendent, and Mr. Lance Trollop, WSD Board Member, will be present to listen to feedback provided by members of the Riverview community, and answer questions.

Restructuring Conversation
*We will have middle school students available to watch Riverview children (4K-Grade 5) during the meeting. Younger children may attend the meeting with you.
You are welcome to attend even if you do not RSVP, but our planning will be aided if you do. Thank you!
It's Scholastic Book Fair Time!
During the week of Nov. 14, students will visit the book fair during library time.
The book fair will also be open:
- before school, Monday-Friday
- after school on Monday-Thursday
- before the PTO meeting on Tuesday
We need volunteers! Please see the schedule and volunteer for a shift or two.
Most shifts are 30-45 minutes.

We are looking for YEARBOOK leaders! Jamie Hoover is leading the way, but she would welcome other helpers! Please contact us at this email address if you have a passion for helping students create a lasting record of the 2022-2023 school year!
The Fish Tank in Riverview's Lobby needs a caretaker. This role would require about two hours of work per month. Ms. Beth, Riverview's head custodian, would provide training. Please let us know if you can help maintain the Fish Tank.
