BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION UPDATE
Thank you for supporting our Box Tops for Education program! We have done really good so far this school year. We should get a check in December for a little over $1,300. Some of that was from the end of last school year and then some from this school year. They send checks out in April and December. The submission deadlines for each check are Feb 28 & Oct 31 so be sure to get your box tops turned in by at least the first of Feb & first of Oct. They do have expiration dates and cannot be sent in if they have already expired. I normally collect them the first week of each month. If the box top does not have an expiration date on it then it is not an actual box top. So be sure you can see the expiration date and that it is not expired. Also you can trim them right around the pink dotted line. The less excess around the edges the lighter it will weigh and cost less to mail. That means more money for the school to keep in the end!
Monthly winners so far this year: July - Decker, August - Butler, and Sept/Oct - Murphy.
Don't forget that the class on each track that collects the most for the whole year gets a pizza party the last week of school.
