Little Dolphins

Born to be Wild
My book Little Dolphins is about when baby dolphins are born. I chose this book because I think dolphins are really cool. I also wanted to see how protective mother dolphins are to their young. By reading this book I now know mother dolphins are very protective.
More Than One
Did you know when a baby dolphin is born that its mom and another female dolphin takes care of it? And dolphins do not leave each other behind, they stay together to keep from being eaten by predators.
Predator
I chose this picture because this is the dolphin's predator the killer whale. Mothers try to keep their babies away from all the predators.
Eating Time
I chose this picture because dolphins are like cowboys and cowgirls, they round up their food. Dolphins herd their food upward to the surface, then the whole pod enjoys their dinner.
Stick Close To Mom
Baby dolphins stick close to mom because they're to young to fight off predators. If mom has another baby the first one will continue to stick to mom.
