I am so glad we had sunshine this week!! It was wonderful and I even had an opportunity play with students on the playground. LOVE IT!!
The new shade structure is up on the kindergarten playground. Once the poles for the big playground shade structure are here, the installer will have it up in no time. Thank you to all of our parents and PTO for making this dream come true at last!! These structures truly complement the new equipment that the district had installed and students will enjoy the shade on those very hot days. Parents, please do take your children to our playground over a weekend and try out the new stuff. It is really cool!
Today was the big "Principal for the Day" event for Nathan Barnette and Sam Smith!! We had a BLAST! Thank you to our parents for supporting the on-line auction. This fundraiser directly benefits our children! What an exciting day this is!!!
Please remember that tonight at 6:30 is our French Bingo in the cafeteria. You do not have to be in immersion to join us, and you don't have to speak French. There are pictures...for people like me!! This evening is free and filled with fun and fellowship! Do come join us!!
Enjoy the weekend! Stay warm, dry, and enjoy a good book with your children!
Yours truly,
Jan Fickling, Principal of Midway Elementary
