Definitions
Less than one- when you multiply a whole number by a fraction that is less than one(or a fraction by a fraction that is less than one), the product will always be less than that whole number.
Greater than one- when you multiply numbers greater than one, the product will always be greater than both of the factors.
Equivalent- Any number times 1 or a fraction equal to one, is always equal to that other number/factor.
