Evaluating the effectiveness of your Pre-K Program is one of the many High- Quality Pre-K Program Requirements. The Early Childhood Division at TEA has developed the Early Childhood Program Self-Assessment and the Early Childhood Program Self-Assessment Guide to assist Districts and Campus-Level Administrators, as well as other campus leaders, in meeting this high- quality requirement. Although this specific tool is optional to use, it provides an invaluable resource for assessing, validating, and/or identifying areas of need and developing a solid campus plan that focuses on student success.
