COVID-19 Reminders
- Masks must be worn while at school by all students, teachers, and staff. Bandanas and neck gators are not adequate face coverings.
- Social distancing is required. Maintaining a distance of 6 feet is required at all times.
- Frequent hand-washing is required.
- Please pay close attention to any emails or phone calls from the school. These will keep you updated with any new developments regarding a move to remote school, or any COVID cases in our buildings.
- If you are not feeling well or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please stay home from school, let the office know, and get tested. We need everyone's help and cooperation to keep our school open & safe!
THANK YOU!
If you did not get your pass in school, it will be coming in the mail. See you out on the ice!
Educational Leave Program
Again this year, LPMHS is proud to offer our Educational Leave Program for student-athletes who train and compete at the state and national level in sports that are not school sponsored (NYSEF sports, luge, bobsled, speed skating, figure skating, etc…). This program is designed to provide educational support for student-athletes who must miss classes to train and compete in their sport.
If your child is planning on participating in NYSEF sports or any other outside sport this winter, please fill out the Educational Leave Request form and email it to Ms. Amy Spicer, LPMHS Educational Leave Coordinator: aspicer@lakeplacidcsd.net. She will also be happy to answer any questions you may have about the program. Please note that the form needs to be submitted to Ms. Spicer five school days in advance of your child’s leave.
