GGU Early Bird Registration

Discounted registration through Jan 31st, 2016

GGU 2016: August 6-12 at Wald Solar Heim in Eberswalde, just outside of Berlin

Dear parents,

As a number of parents and grandparents have gotten in touch to ask about GGU 2016, we wanted to send you a quick note to let you know that GGU's 2016 camp will be held at

Wald Solar Heim in Eberswalde, just outside of Berlin

August 6-12, 2016.

We are excited about this new location in the international environmental education center that provides excellent infrastructure on beautiful grounds, while still offering us easy access to Berlin. We are already gearing up for 2016: developing advanced skill-building elements, getting stellar Power Mentors on board, and planning engaging international projects.

More details for our 2016 camp can be found at: www.girlsgearingup.org

Early bird registration (EUR 700) is available through January 31. 2016 - so if your daughter is thinking about coming back to camp next year, you may want to secure her place before then!

We remain committed to making GGU accessible to every interested girl, and we are currently working on securing financial aid for 2016. Additionally, we encourage girls to practice their entrepreneurial skills to help finance their participation at camp and would love to support them in their efforts to do so. We have collected some first ideas here: http://www.girlsgearingup.org/fundraising-101.html

If you or anyone you know is interested in contributing to our scholarship fund, please refer to our account information below.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions or need additional information about anything.

As 2015 draws to a close, we wish you and your family a peaceful holiday season, and are sending our very best wishes for a happy and fulfilling 2016!

Warm regards,

Chi, Courtney, Sheila & Tina
