All it Takes
Parent Power
Lori is Co-founder, President, and Executive Director for All It Takes, a non-profit organization that teaches bold and compassionate leadership to youth. As a former CVUSD school counselor with more than 25 years of experience, Lori recognizes the compelling need for both students and parents to actively engage in purposeful thought followed by action in order to create desired outcomes including inter-connectedness with others and a reduction in ever-increasing youth risk factors. To build connection and reduce risk factors, Lori developed programs for youth through All It Takes, and for parents through her Parent Power series. Youth programs empower bold, compassionate and purposeful action that results in increased self-efficacy and self-esteem. Parent programs support families in experiencing deeper connection and greater joy while also fostering independence and confidence in their children.
Lori is also a consultant to parents, an author, public speaker and leader in the arts of communication, empathy, social impact and public service. She holds a Masters degree in Educational Psychology.
