Abrams Elementary School
TOGETHER --We Learn... We Achieve... We Grow
Welcome back to another great year of learning at Abrams!
Parents -- you are doing a great job with drop off and pick up! I know this is a big change but you have adjusted well and your patience is outstanding. Please continue to display your car tag on the passenger side hanging from the visor. This helps us see it clearly. Students will keep their same pick up number throughout their time at Abrams Elementary. Please keep the tags as they will be using the same number every year. If you have lost your tag from last year, please call the school office at 920-826-5819.
Breakfast begins at 7:30. Please talk to your child if they want to eat breakfast at school. It is free. If you are dropping off your child and they will eat breakfast, please have them here at 7:30 so they have time to eat before class begins.
Please contact me with any questions or concerns you have about your child or school.
Notes from the Office
Student Pick Up: Remember if your child's normal end of the day plan is to ride the bus, but you have decided to pick up your child, you need to send a note or email the teacher as well as office staff. Phone calls regarding changes should be made before 2:00 PM.
Picture Day is coming! MK Photography is the school photographer this year. Abrams students will get their picture taken on Tuesday, September 14th.
Friday Shirt Day! Every Friday is a special "shirt day" or "dress up day" at Abrams school. For September the office staff has chosen the dress up days and in the following months the 5th graders will have the option to offer some ideas for our special dress up days. Participation is always optional, but it's a fun way to end the week.
School Dress Up Days:
September 3rd: Red, White and Blue Day
September 10th: Dress as a Book Character Day
September 17th: Tie-Dye Day
September 24th: Crazy Sock Day
The deadline for submitting articles for the newsletter is Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. The office staff needs time to add, proof and make sure things are ready to go at press time. Any articles submitted after 3:00 p.m. on Tuesdays will not be added until the next newsletter two weeks later. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
