We are One Hart, with our goal to make Every Student...Opportunity Ready!
What an amazing week! It was definitely a memorable week with the snow coming down during the school day! If you want a closer look at how our students interacted with the snowfall, check out this VIDEO that our La Mesa Live crew put together!
It was great to see our kids...just being kids! For many of them, this was the first time they had seen snow falling from the sky!
The Hart District Honor Band concert is this Saturday, March 4th! Each band (JH and HS) features participants from all Hart District schools, including some of our very own Lobos.
The concert takes place at 6:30pm in the Hart High School auditorium. Tickets are $15 at the door.
This is a great chance to hear what an exceptional concert band sounds like, as both the Junior High and High School honor bands are comprised of the very best musicians from each school. The concert will only be about one hour long.
We do need your help with a few items:
1. School start time - 8:45. We are seeing an increase in the amount of school tardies. Please plan to come drop off your student around the 8:15 time frame as this will help ensure your student is in class on time.
2. Gum on campus - we have a school rule of no gum on campus. Please remind your student of this rule. We are seeing an increase in gum on campus, which may not seem like a big deal, but the reason for the rule is that some students choose to place their gum on the ground which is making our beautiful campus difficult to walk.
There are so many great opportunities for students and parents listed in this update. I hope you take the time to read through all of the exciting things happening at La Mesa!
