Team:
What a great week back! High school life is never boring and this week was another example. Next week we have our theatre arts performance during the day for our elementary students and two public performances on Thursday night and Saturday.
I would like to encourage your attendance at one of these performances to support our students!
In fact, for the rest of the year, if you are seen at an extra-curricular event (or provide proof of attendance) we will give you a jeans pass to where whenever you choose! Seeing and being seen at our student events is paramount to building relationships!
Next week we also have EOC retakes. Take time to encourage our students to give their best efforts if you know of any who are retaking. I appreciate all of the effort Allison Young and Leah Robertson are putting into making next week a success for our students.
Thinking ahead, Dec 20 at 6:30 Jessie Shortes has agreed to host our Fall Christmas party. If you can make it, join us! Bring the family! We will get information out soon about food and party items. The next day, Dec 21, we will be hosting a campus-wide Ugly Christmas Sweater competition. Winners will receive a prize...more about that later!
Based on Progress Report grades, students will be issued a PALS tutorial pass beginning next week so expect some students to come to your Buck Time with a PALS tutoring pass.
Monday, students will be able to come pick up a Final Exam exemption form. Please reiterate that they are expected to be in attendance for all days during the final exam. The only exception to this will be students who exempt the last final of the day may leave 30 minutes early.
Don't forget to update grades before you leave today!
Be intentional about engagement!
