Kestrel Heights Charter School
November 27-December 1
Friday, December 8th is a Teacher Workday!!!
Early Check Out
School Lunch
Dear Parents and/or Guardians,
KHS is fully implementing a lunch preorder, effective as of December 4th, 2017. This system will allow parents to pre-order meals, to add funds and track the meals balance. KHS will order lunch from our catering company according to the meals ordered by parents. We will order the exact number for lunch; therefore, there is no way for a student to eat if a parent did not pre order online. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
All parents of students who choose to eat from school’s lunch regardless of their status (Free, Reduced or Paid) have to use this system to pre-order the meals.
Pre-orders for the following week must be made every Friday by 8:00 p.m. Please review the attached document to create an account and how to pre-order. If you need assistance with Pre-Ordering, please call and schedule an appointment with Maureen Gordon.
If you have any questions, please contact Maureen Gordon at 919-484-1300 ext. 126 or via email at gordon@kestrelheights.org
Thank you, KHS Administration

You don’t want to miss this high energy level performance as the Kestrel Express takes off to other countries to explore a variety of cultures and traditions. This is a collaborative effort between Music, Dance, Spanish, and Art classes.
The benefits of participating in a production of this type are extremely valuable to a child’s development. Performing builds confidence, team player skills, and self discipline. Students learn to connect with each other, relate music to cultural experiences, and develop their communication skills.
We are now accepting donations to help cover the cost of music, lights, sound, risers, etc. We want this to be a high quality performance for our Kestrel students. But we need you! Please go to the Kestrel Website (under Parents) and click on Make a Payment to Kestrel Heights Music Department. Thanks in advance for your support of the K-5 Winter Concert!
