Jean J Rousseau took a stand for an equal education in 1712 -1750. Rousseau believed that a man should learn how to be a man, not a physician, lawyer, or a priest.He also believd in ''natural social order'' where men can live happy

His beliefs are still seen today in our own government.
For example in our Declaration of Independence, when it says ''that all men are created equal'' and also ''pursuit of happiness'' these are both examples of Rousseau's beliefs.
