Charter School Regional Spelling Bee Results
Bethel Hill Wildcat, Gavin Walker, participated in the Charter School Regional Spelling Bee on Wednesday, February 24 and did a fantastic job representing our school! Gavin had some tough competition and placed 4th among 12 eligible contestants. He made it through nine rounds of tough words all while remaining calm, cool, and collected! Congratulations, Gavin, on a job well done! We are so proud of you!
Battle of the Books
Students have been reading and preparing for the Battle of the Books and it is just around the corner! The battle will take place on Wednesday, March 31 and more details will be coming soon. We are excited to see our super-reader teams show off their book smarts! Go Wildcats!
Showing Love to Our Community...
During the month of February, BHCS had the opportunity to make Valentine's cards for residents in local nursing homes and extended care facilities. Numerous classes participated and nearly 150 cards were distributed in our community by local volunteers!
Additionally, Mrs. Chalk's class created thank you notes for postal workers that will be distributed at a breakfast honoring them on March 3.
We are so proud of our students and their compassion for others!
School Picture Day
SMILE... it is picture time! Strawbridge photography will be at BHCS Tuesday, March 9, for spring pictures. Packets were sent out on February 25. Any student wishing to take a picture that day can do so. Remote students should call the office to schedule a picture appointment.
Picture proofs will be available 3-4 weeks following picture day and will be sent home from the school with information on how to order.
RC Points Update
Students will have through the 5th Grading period to reach their RC points goal for this year. We are working on an RC Celebration for all students who reach their goal and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments! Please continue to encourage your child to read each night and complete RC tests each week. We appreciate your participation in our student's success!
