Help Needed in the Concession Stand!

Volunteers are needed to work in the concessions on February 6th. Call the office if you are able to volunteer 1 or 2 hours.

Mixed-Up MONDAY, February 1st

  • Wear clothing with a mix of patterns, colors that don’t match, two different shoes, and all things mixed-up!

  • Theme: Finding Christ in a Mixed-Up World


Team TUESDAY/Teacher Appreciation Day, February 2nd

  • Wear your jeans, uniform socks and shoes, and a shirt or sweatshirt representing your favorite sports team!

  • Theme: Team Jesus


Work-Out WEDNESDAY/Grandparents’ Day, February 3

  • Prepare to get in physical and spiritual shape! You may wear athletic work-out clothing such as sweat pants, sneakers, sweat bands, and dry-fit shirts. No leggings or spandex please!

  • Theme: Spiritual Work-Out!


Grandparents are invited to arrive at the school at 8:30 am for a full morning full of fun!

  • 8:30-9:00 – continental breakfast
  • 9:00-9:30 – classroom visits
  • 9:30-9:45 – dancing and exercising in the gym
  • 9:45-10:15 – Bingo
  • 10:15-10:50 – book fair/pictures
  • 10:50-11:30 - lunch


Tired THURSDAY/Student Appreciation Day, February 4th

• It’s your day to come to school in your pajamas! Pillows are optional.

• Theme: Resting in The Peace of Christ


Pho FRIDAY/Asian New Year, February 5th

• Come to school dressed in traditional Asian clothing as we celebrate Asian New Year! Pho, Fried Rice, and Egg Rolls will be served for lunch!

o 8:15 – Mass
o 9:45 – Asian New Year Celebration in the gym

o 10:30 – Closing

St. George is celebrating Grandparents Day on Wednesday, February 2nd. All grandparents are invited to celebrate their special day with events beginning at 8:30 am and ending after lunch at 11:00 am. RSVP by contacting the school office.

2016-2017 School Registration

Registration information for the 2016-2017 school year was given out at the January 31st Open House. If you did not receive your information, expect it to go home on Monday, February 1st. See the letter below.

Online Enrollment is NOW OPENED!


To complete our online reenrollment process, you will access our ParentsWeb through your existing login. If you do not have a login, please follow the Instructions for Creating a ParentsWeb Login listed below.


To access ParentsWeb:


* Please go to www.renweb.com

* Select Logins from the menu bar and ParentsWeb Login from the drop-down menu.

* Type in your username and password. If you have forgotten your username or password, please click on the link provided.

* After logging in, click on the Family Information button in the left menu.

* Click on the Enrollment/Reenrollment button.

Instructions for Creating a ParentsWeb Login * Please go to www.renweb.com.

* Select Logins from the menu bar and ParentsWeb Login from the drop-down menu.

* After the RenWeb ParentsWeb Login screen opens, please select Create New ParentsWeb Account.

* Enter STGEO-TX into the District Code field.

* Enter in the Email field your email address as provided in your application to the school.

* Click the Create Account button.

* You will receive an email from RenWeb Customer Support containing a link that will allow you to create your username and password. For security purposes the link will remain active for 6 hours.

* Please click on the link. A Change/Create Password screen will open. You may use the default username provided, or create a new username. Then type in your desired password into the Password field and Confirm Field.

* Click on the Save Username and/or Password button.

* Close the window.

* Log into ParentsWeb as instructed above.


Our Online Enrollment system emailed you a link to the enrollment packet for your child. The online process should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Your information will be saved if you need to quit and come back later.


The Instructions and Enrollment Checklist page of the enrollment packet contains supplemental enrollment forms that also must be submitted. Further instructions on these forms are provided online. Completion of the online enrollment form, along with payment of the registration fee, shows your commitment to being part of the success of St. George Catholic School.


It is also important to note that all families who wish to be considered for financial assistance must complete the FACTS Financial Aid form. The form is currently available online on our webpage www.stgeorgecatholicschool.org and you can access it by clicking on Current Parent, Parent Resources, and FACTS logo. Priority deadline for the first round is April 15, 2016. After this date, all submitted applications will be considered for the second round of awards given in July.
