The Little Viking Newsletter
April/May 2018
Welcome!
As the world turns around to spring, we are faced with new and challenging events in our state, in our country, and in the world. Whether we are talking about natural disasters or state and world affairs, it is reassuring to know that your children come to school every day to a caring and nurturing learning environment. The excellent staff members who make up our Tri-Valley Elementary learning community include our dedicated teachers, our wonderful educational assistants, our outstanding school secretary, our helpful custodians, and our cheerful cooks. Every day we go about the business of teaching and learning. There are so many things that are happening here at TVES that help to create this caring learning environment!
These last two months of school are very important for our students’ learning. Many of the skills developed this year will be reinforced and strengthened over the last two months of school and we will be setting the foundation for next year as well. Let’s work together to help our students keep their focus on learning for the rest of the year.
Lastly, the district has been working on the full summer day care and mini camps which are offered to our Little Viking School through 3rd grade students. If you are interested in having your child attend any of these programs, please sign up right away!
Happy Spring!
