Football Advances To Elite 8 With Dominant Win Over Hazelwood Central
Football Travels To DeSmet For Game November 15th
The Vikings will travel to DeSmet on Friday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m. in the Elite 8 as they face #1 State ranked DeSmet. The post-season football ticket prices for the remainder of the year have been included below. Please remember these are MSHSAA sponsored events so punch passes, student passes and senior passes cannot be used. Good luck to our football program as they look to continue their post-season run and to advance to the Final Four!

Boys Swim Wins Back To Back Conference Championships
The Boys Swim program won in dominant fashion by over 120 points on Wednesday night as they captured the GAC South Conference Championship for the second straight year. The Vikings were led with championship performances by Jacobb Dearing in the 200 Free, Cole Guffey in the 500 Free and 100 Breast and also by the 400 Free Relay. Below you can find the results of our Vikings that swam in the Finals and placed in the top eight. Congratulations to these young men and good luck this week as several of them compete in the MSHSAA State Championships!

Boys Swim Prepares For MSHSAA State Championships
The Boys Swim program advanced their 400 Free Relay team to the MSHSAA State Championships which will be held at the Rec Plex this week. The 400 Free Relay earned a GAC South Championship earlier in the week at the Conference Championships. Congratulations to the Vikings below for being part of the 400 Free Relay or being alternates at the State Meet. It has been a great year for our Viking swimmers!

Howell Programs Prepare For Post-Season
It has been a great fall season for our programs and now they are gearing up for the post-season. Below you can find the remaining dates for upcoming post-season events for our fall programs that still remain in the post season. Please remember that these are MSHSAA events and our Howell student passes, punch passes and senior passes can no longer be used. Events below are dependent on our programs continuing to advance. Girls Swim Begins Monday
The Girls Swim program will begin their season on Monday, November 11th. In order to participate and tryout you must have a completed eligibility packet on file in the Activities Office. Those that do not have the eligibility packet complete will not be able to tryout until it is complete. Due to the boys season still going on and the State Meet being held at the Rec Plex this week there will be daily changes to the schedule that will be communicated by the coaching staff. Below you can find the time for practice on Monday.

Time Is Now Club To Honor Veterans
Beginning on November 4th the Time Is Now Club will be selling American Flag pins for $1 in the Commons during lunches. Students will also be able to purchase leaves for $1 to put on a "Tree of Honor" that will recognize veterans. All proceeds from the two events will go to Vision for Vets. Vision for Vets is a 501 (c)(3) in St. Louis with the mission of "enrich(ing) and preserv(ing) the lives of our Military Veterans while empowering them through the healing power of the arts."
The Time Is Now Club is also encouraging the community to submit names of a veteran they would like recognized on the Tree of Honor. The tree will be located in the FHHS Commons during the first two weeks of November. If you are someone or have someone that has served in our military and would like to be or have them recognized on this tree, please click on the link below to complete the form to submit their name.

Howell Signing Day Events Released
Senior student-participants that will be signing a National Letter of Intent to participate in their activity or sport at the college level will have several opportunities to particpate in the following signing day picture and signing day ceremony opportunities. Students that will be furthering their education and sport/activity at the college level should come to the Activities Office to make them aware of their anticipated signing date. The summer, fall, winter, and spring dead periods and starting dates for MSHSAA sponsored activities has been released for the 2019-20 school year. These dates can be found below.
