Good Morning Stanwood Middle School Families!

This past week we met both at the district level and building level to discuss how we would empower our Spartans to learn at Stanwood Middle School. We are excited to share with you in the coming weeks regarding our Annual Action Plan (AAP) that will focus on building the necessary skills for all of our Spartans to find success at school.

As you can see below, our Open House will be this Tuesday, August 30th. You will be able to tour the school, pick up information, and greet many of our teachers on this night! Our office will be open during Open House too, but we will not be selling Yearbooks and ASB cards, these will be available for sale Monday, August 29th to Thursday, August, 31st from 8:00 a.m. to noon.

Please forward this message to other families and spread the word to make sure everyone is informed to start the year. Families that do not receive this message will need to make sure their email addresses are updated in Skyward. Our fantastic PTO has a Facebook page (below), please help direct families to this as well.

Please remember that all athletes must have a sports physical on file by September 6. Both Cross Country and Girls Soccer require eight practices before the first competition.

It would be best if you can wait to buy supplies until students have met their new teachers, but below is a list of supplies you can purchase if you are headed out this week. We know how enticing the sales are at this time of year. We will have more details later in the week.
