P.E.Ms. Lankes' 2nd graders were working on their hockey skills. They are learning how to score goalies, and be passers of the puck. They are also learning that they go to the penalty box for high sticking. Have the students watch the Hockey playoffs for the Stanley Cup. | Teacher of the Year CelebrationWe enjoyed honoring the District Teachers of the Year and our Distinguished Educators at the Catalina Foothills School District Foundation Celebration at Skyline Country Club this past Sunday. We enjoyed supporting and celebrating Ventana’s 5th grade teacher Mrs. Cordero as a Distinguished Educator. She is such a great teacher. Thanks to the FFO for supporting our staff with a table. | Kindergarten Field TripOur Kindergarteners went on their very first field trip today and they went to the zoo. They are continuing their learning by writing facts about their favorite animal. In Spanish they are continuing to learn all the names of animals in Spanish. They look a little tired this afternoon. |
