Geographic Bee at Cresthill
The 2023 School Geography Bee at CMS was a great success! After completing the preliminary round that included all students (in their social studies classes) answering seven rounds of geography questions, we hosted ten students for the final round. These students were Luca Bataglioli, Jack Barlow, Bergen Moran, Lyric Newsome, Brady Pruitt, Eli Rutenberg, Carter Bolton, Zach Niesyty, Cooper Straub, and Jack Baker. From that group, we had our third place winner, Luca Bataglioli, our second place winner, Lyric Newsome, and our school champion for 2023, Cooper Straub. Congratulations to all students and a huge thank you to our social studies department for running the Bee on behalf of the Cresthill student body. Way to go! Keep learning about our world!

State-Mandated Testing Updates
Dear Cresthill Families,
We are in the process of preparing for our state-mandated testing. To find information regarding our planned schedule for CMAS & CoALT/DLM testing, the DCSD Assessment Policy and district schedule, and information regarding testing excusals, please find your way to the "State Mandated Testing" tab on the Cresthill website. (Note: The excusals "portal" is open at this point should you choose to excuse your child from testing. We will ask that, on days of testing and if your child is excused that he or she stay home (an excused absence). If you intend to excuse your child, please do so as early as possible.) Thank you!
Note: The final building testing schedule has not been finalized but do know that we are planning to conduct testing during the first three weeks of April. A more detailed schedule regarding the testing window will be posted during the week of December 12th.
