As you all know our nut allergy policy has changed here at CCE for the lunch room. Students are now welcome to bring desired snacks and lunches that contain nuts. However, we are still nut free in all classrooms. It is extremely important that the snacks that are being brought into the classroom do not contain nuts. Please check the labels to ensure they do not say “may contain nuts”. Students will be asked to put these back in their backpacks. Thank you for your attention to this very important matter.
Cold Stone - Wednesday, Sept. 18th
On Wednesday, Sept. 18 between 4pm and 7pm CCE teachers will be scooping ice cream at Cold Stone! Mention CCE when paying for your ice cream and a portion of the total sales from that time will go to the school, so plan to grab a sweet treat that evening!
Save the Date: - CCE Scurry , Friday, Sept. 27th
The CCE Scurry will take place on Friday, September 27th, with the official kickoff Wed, Sept. 19th. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. The money we raise supports the school by paying part of the art teachers salary, various technology needs and other things that benefit our school. We can't do it without your help!
More information will be coming out start thinking about who to ask for donations. Obviously friends, family, and neighbors are great places to start. Remember that many companies offer matching donations as part of your employee benefits. So ask your company and families/friends' companies if they offer this benefit.
Feel free to join us and cheer your student on! We will also be sending out a signup genius soon so you can help make this event a success.
Thank you for being such an amazing community and for supporting our school!!
