Dollenger says....
Since we have come back we have certainly seen an uptake in COVID positive cases and contacts. Our guidance has also been updated to require boosters once removed six months from a second shot to remain in a fully vaccinated status as far as contact tracing and quarantining. Students, families, and staff continue to work hard to minimize disruptions to learning, keep our school open, keep extra curricular activities happening, and most important to keep each other safe. I truly appreciate everyone's cooperation as we move forward together.

MISSION:
We are here to promote NEHS’s curricular and extra-curricular support for school wide activities in an effort to improve school spirit, provide enrichment, and develop positive student, teacher, parent, administrative, and community relationships.
Can you believe we are halfway through January already? The month has already brought the cold weather and sickness so we hope you are all well. As you may know, we are no longer able to sell concessions at the school during Winter sports which brings us to some uncharted territory in regards to fundraising. If you have any ideas you would like to bounce off us please email them to us @actionclubnehs@gmail.com
We will be selling Candy grams and Flower grams for students to purchase to give to their Valentine's, friends, or favorite teacher! So be on the lookout for details at the beginning of next month.
Our first batch of Senior banners will be hung within the week. We hope those that have ordered will enjoy seeing their names and proud comments from their loved ones. Our next batch will be ordered on February 29th, so there is time to order yours now!
As always we want to thank you for your continued support of our School. Stay warm and well.

Alumni Spotlight
Connor Rowe graduated from North East High School in 2018. During his four years of high school, he was a member of the soccer, wrestling, tennis, and lacrosse team. He would like to give a shoutout to Mr. Miller, Mr. Leitgib, and Coach Miller for their support throughout high school.
After high school, Connor went away to college undecided and after a semester, he came back and worked with his Dad in construction. He realized that construction wasn't his true passion and went back to Wilmington University. During his winter break, he started a business selling crabs and seafood. He really enjoyed it and decided to leave Wilmington University to pursue his crabbing and seafood business.
Connor is the proud owner of 410-Seafood in Chesapeake City, MD. His business has been growing very quickly over the past two years and he absolutely loves what he does! His Dad had a huge influence over him since he has owned his own business.
