Elevated Bits and Bytes

We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. We are all sad to see the smoke roll in the last couple of days. After starting the school year late last year due to the Caldor Fire, we know it's stressful for everyone to see smoke roll in again.

Just so everyone is aware, the district protocols for smoke are to monitor the Air Quality Index (AQI) through PurpleAir.com. If the AQI is higher than 150, students do not go outside for recess. Within the Al Tahoe campus, we have air purifiers in all the classrooms and shared spaces. If you have any questions about the district or school policies, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Back to School Night

This Thursday, September 15th, we will be having our virtual back-to-school night! Your child's teacher (or teachers) will be sending out links to Google slides with all the important info about their class. You will get these links no later than Monday. On Thursday, the teachers will be hosting a live question and answer section from 5 pm to 6 pm. Your child's teacher will send out a link to the google meet for this session. You will also get the links from the office staff on Wednesday and Thursday.
