Note from the Health Office

To help prevent the spread of illness:

  • Encourage your child to wash their hands.
  • Ensure your child gets adequate sleep each night.
  • Provide a water bottle for your child to use at school to keep him/her well-hydrated.
  • If your child is ill or is not feeling well, please keep him/her home.
  • If someone within your household tests positive for COVID, please keep all students that live in that house at home. Call the Health Office 385-4216 for further guidance.
  • Pink Eye - MDH no longer requires schools to exclude students with pinkeye. This was changed in 2019.

  • Fevers - Students should be fever-free (without the use of medications) for 24 hours before returning to school.

  • Strep Throat - Your child will need to be on antibiotics for at least 12 hours before returning to school.

NOTICE: If your child needs any prescription medication administered at school, including eye drops, you must present a doctor's order requesting the medication be given at school. The order must be turned in before any medication will be administered. Office visit notes will not be accepted as a doctor's order.

Notice from the Elementary Office:

If your child needs a change in their afterschool plan, a parent or guardian must call the office no later than 2:50 p.m. Changes that come in after 2:50 p.m. will not be guaranteed.
