Weekly Update
Monday November 21, 2022
From the Principal's Desk
Greetings CLRES Team!
Two short days and we are on a well-deserved break. During this time for giving thanks, I hope you know how thankful I am for this staff. It is my hope that amidst all the holiday celebrations you are intentional about making time for yourself. This break signals the official start of the holiday season and with all the jingle bells and holly jollys please make sure you are not overextending and stressing yourself out.
This week we have 2 early release days. We have awards ceremonies scheduled for Monday and Tuesday. The ceremonies will be live-streamed for families. At 12:15 or once all your students have been accounted for, you are free to leave. I strongly suggest getting everything done before you leave so you can fully enjoy your time, however, you chose to spend it.
Let's make it a great week, on purpose.

Communication
Proactive communication - Weekly post to ClassDojo that highlights learning for the week and resources to support at home. Admin will be checking all ClassDojos weekly to monitor this expectation.
Timely Responses - The district expectation is 48 hours to respond to communication. Regardless of the parents' tone, we are to maintain professionalism at all times. If a family member crosses the line in their communication, do not respond and forward the communication to the administration. Do not confuse venting, concern, or frustration with a personal attack. Parents want the best for their children and they need our help so they can best support their students learning at home.
