Writing
During the fourth quarter, third graders will continue to work on their “fractured fairy tale” unit. They will apply their knowledge of plot and story structure into adapting a fairytale of their choice. Writers will move away from superficial changes and work on developing meaningful changes. Writers will consider how story elements are interconnected and will then show how one change leads to another change, altering the entire course of a story
