St. Bede School Newsletter
November 19, 2021
Dear St. Bede School Families,
Our St. Bede School Parent/Teacher Conferences are scheduled for Tuesday, November 23, from 12:00 – 7:00 pm. Sign-up links were sent out earlier this week for parents to sign-up for a specific time for a virtual meeting with their child’s teacher. If you did not receive the sign-up email, please let us know, and we will resend it to you.
In the meantime, if you ever want to meet with a staff member to discuss an issue before or after Parent/Teacher Conferences, please feel free to call the school and set up a meeting. Our staff will be happy to schedule a meeting with you to discuss your concerns.
Due to Parent-Teacher Conferences, there will be an early dismissal on Tuesday, November 23, at 11:30 am. There is no Extended Care Program that afternoon.
There is no school next Wednesday, November 24, through Friday, November 26, for our Thanksgiving Break. Please plan accordingly.

Thank you to everyone who ordered from our Charleston Wrap Fundraiser! We raised $1,713 for the school! Even though the fundraiser is over, there is still time to order if you didn’t have time to do so already! St. Bede will still receive 40% profit for orders through December 3rd. See the attached flyer for the ordering code. Thank you for supporting our school!
Box Tops for Education
Remember to get your Box Tops in! We have raised $81.60 so far in the digital box tops app. Our goal is to raise $600.00 for the year for the school! We are doing a school-wide competition for Box Tops. If we can raise $600.00 as a school before the end of the school year, the PA will supply pizza for all of the students as a reward for meeting our goal! You can still turn in cut-out box tops, or scan them into the app. To use the app you need to download the “Box Tops for Education” App onto your phone. The app is free. Shop as you normally would, then use the app to scan your store receipt within 14 days of purchase. The app will identify the Box Tops products on your receipt and automatically credit your school’s earnings. The app is very user-friendly. See the attached flyer for more detail on how to use and download the app!

Have a Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope that everyone has a wonderful, thoughtful, and reflective Thanksgiving! God has given us much to be thankful for! Thanksgiving is a day when we need not worry about all of life’s pressures and problems; a day when we need not struggle to get ahead. It is a day intended to relax with family and friends and give thanks for all we have been blessed with. As we come to the close of the liturgical year, let us worship and give thanks to the Lord.
