Membership Matters!
The DAIS PTO (Dallastown Area Intermediate School Parent Teacher Organization) is a volunteer based organization dedicated to fostering and supporting a safe, inclusive, educational experience for all students. The DAIS PTO seeks to enhance a community spirit that encourages and celebrates the students and dedicated staff of DAIS! You make the difference!
★ Now there are two ways to become a member!
1. Complete the online form - donation link at the end of the online form. Click HERE to submit an online donation of $10 or more.
2. Print the DAIS PTO Membership Form and return it to your community office with your $10 (or more) donation.Checks made payable to DAIS PTO.

DAIS PTO SPIRIT WEAR
VOLUNTEER CLEARANCES
Volunteers play a vital role in supporting the staff, students, and programs of the Dallastown Area School District. We are very thankful that you have expressed an interest in volunteering in our district.
The following documents must be on file with the District prior to the first day of volunteer service:
- Volunteer Information Sheet - Please complete and submit with appropriate documentation.
- PA Child Abuse History (ACT 151) -Child Abuse clearance website.
- PA State Police Criminal Check (ACT 34) - State police clearance website.
- FBI Clearance Exemption Form - If you have lived in the Commonwealth of PA for 10 or more consecutive years, you do NOTneed to obtain a FBI clearance. Sign and date this form.
- FBI CLEARANCE WEBSITE Enter service code 1KG6XN
- Affidavit & Agreement - Needed if a quick start date for volunteering is necessary.
In addition to completing the proper clearances, you will also need to review the information below regarding Mandated Reporting and sign the Acknowledgement form.
- Mandated Reporter Information - Review all of the frequently asked questions at the bottom of the page.
- Mandated Reporter Acknowledgement - Sign and submit after reviewing mandated reporter information.
Once all of the above has been completed, submit to the building secretary for approval.
Thank you for your interest in serving as volunteer with the Dallastown Area School District. These new volunteer clearance requirements further support the Dallastown Area School District commitment to providing a safe, secure learning environment for students.
DAIS PTO Challenge Day
On Thursday, September 19, DAIS Students will join forces for the DAIS PTO Challenge!
- 4th Grade: 8:45 am - 10:30 am
- 5th Grade: 1:00 pm - 2:45 pm
- 6th Grade: 10:30 am - 12:15 pm
DAIS students will participate in olympic-style challenges to celebrate their AMAZING fundraising efforts! The DAIS PTO Challenge is the only building-wide fundraising event for DAIS. Donations benefit students’ educational & recreational activities.
Don’t forget about the DAIS PTO Challenge prizes!
- AWESOME prizes for the TOP-5 Students & TOP Team fundraiser
- A prize for the MOST PARTICIPATING TEAM
- Opportunities to win COOL PRIZES for each $25 students raise
- Students who raise $50 or more will earn a special incentive
- NEW! The top fundraising team as of September 11 will earn an extra reward. (Teams should continue to fundraise and the top team as of September 17 will also earn an extra reward!)
- Final donations due September 19
