Virgnia
- Virginia was founded by John Smith in 1607. He was sponsored by the Virginia Company of London to find gold.
- The Economy was well balanced . They made their money by selling cattle , tobacco and farmings plants like peanuts .
- Virginia started off as a Charter Colony. King James l granted a proprietary charter to the two competing company's that were supported by investors . The company's were the Plymouth and the London Company. In 1624 King James made Virginia a Royal Colony.
- The Powhatan Tribe helped the colonists when they first got there because they didn't know how to survive.The Powhatan's grew angry as the colonists started taking advantage of their lands . The English raided the villages for food, sometimes even killing women and children in the process.
- The people in Virginia were Anglican

Maryland
- Founded in 1634 by Lord Baltimore
- They Concentrated on agriculture and developed plantations , exporting tobacco, cotton,corn, vegetables , fruit,grain and livestock
- Maryland was a Proprietary Colony.
- The names of the Maryland tribes included the Lenape, Nanticoke, Piscataway, Conoy, Powhatan, Accohannock, Shawnee, Susquehannock, Tutelo and Saponi tribes.
- They werent dominated to a specific religion
North Carolina
- Founded in 1653 by the Virginia Colonist
- They made money by planting and trading . Their main crops were rice and indigo. But they grew other things like rice and tobacco.
- North Carolina was a Proprietary Colony
- The Tuscarora Tribe lived there in peace until the colonists starting raiding villages to take slaves , and introducing diseases . So they migrated to New York.
- They believed in Anglican Religion.
South Carolina
- Founded in 1663 by eight nobles with a royal charter by King Charles ll.
- They had slaves working on plantations ans they would trade their food and other crops for other things likes shoes and lace .
- South Carolina was also a Proprietary Colony.
- Some of the tribes there were the Yamasee, Catawba,and Cherokee there was no conflict.
- They also believed int eh Anglican Religion.
Georgia
- Georgia was founded by James Oglethorpe on February 12, 1733. The colony was administered by the Trustees for the Establishment of the Colony of Georgia in America under a charter issued by King George II.
- They mostly grew things such as rice and cotton.
- The trustees were unable to establish self-government and gave up before the 21 year charter had expired and Georgia became a royal colony in 1752.
- In 1828, the state of Georgia passed a series of laws stripping local Cherokee Indians of their rights. The laws also authorized Cherokee removal from lands sought after by the state. The Cherokee cited treaties that they had negotiated, as an independent "nation," with the United States, guaranteeing the Cherokee nation both the land and independence.
- They believed in Anglican Religion.
