Welcome April!

I hope everyone enjoyed their spring break! We have just 27 days of school left, the weather is getting better and it's going to be tough to keep students focused on academics. The best way for students to stay focused is to stick to their schedule, attend their Zoom meetings and complete work by the suggested due dates. Let's finish the school year strong!

Let's Start a VLA PTA!

We have been working with the 16th District PTA President Penny Christian to get our PTA up and going! Please join us for our first VLA PTA Informational meeting on Thursday, April 22 at 6:30pm. If you are interested in serving as PTA Officers, please complete this form and we will follow up with more information for how to get involved! Thank you for your continued support of VLA!

Student Success Story!

FCPS Summer Ignite!

We are in the process of making decisions about summer learning and we would very much appreciate your responses to these survey questions as we plan. If you have more than one child at Virtual Learning Academy, please complete a separate survey for each child.

Reminders: MAP testing & CogAT/IOWA Assessment

As we wrap up the school year, all FCPS students will have a number of opportunities to show what they know through various assessments. Below is the general assessment calendar for the remainder of the school year. Be on the lookout for more specific dates and times from your child's teacher. Please set aside the scheduled times for your child to complete the assessments with their class, as the test results will provide information about how students are succeeding in each subject area.
