What We Did This Week
Here are some of the skills we've been working with your child:
ELA: We've continued our Letter of the Day, with students working on letters F-J. We also worked on name recognition. We read the stories "The Dot" and "Little Red Riding Hood."
Math: We continued to focus on the color red this week and the number 1. You can help your child at home by having them find some objects that are red, pointing out the color red where you can, and having your child count while doing household chores.
Writing: We've been practicing how to write our name or how to sequence the letters in our name.
Next Week we will be starting our apple unit in preparation for our field trip to Fobare's.
