Message from the Principal

Dear Kimball Hill Families,

Our first High Five Friday was such a hit! Our students, staff and law enforcement officers were so excited to connect with one another! It was such a wonderful way to start our day! A big thank you to our Rolling Meadows Police Officers & Rolling Meadows Firefighters; as well as our Palatine Police Officer who joined us to brighten our day! Please check out some highlights below!

As always, we appreciate your partnership and continued support! Please feel free to contact me with questions, concerns and/or feedback.

Coin Challenge

Last chance to bring your coins this week for our school-wide classroom coin challenge. The funds raised will be used to purchase trinket items for our school store. The winning classroom will receive a prize. See details below, hosted by our PTA.

Monthly March Focus

Our focus for this month will be on Transitions. We have noticed that we could use some improvement in this area. We will be reteaching students our expectations for transitions within the class, hallway, to home, bus/car/walker etc. Some of our focus, if you would like to talk with your child at home are:

  1. Make sure you are safely, respectfully and responsibily transitioning in the halls (ie walking, keeping noise level at a level 1, walking without touching artwork on the lockers)

  2. Make sure you use crosswalks

  3. Make sure to walk your bike on school grounds

Lunch With The Principal

Another successful lunch bunch joined me for Lunch with the Principal! These kids continue to amaze me every day! I am so honored to see students trading in their hard earned Paws to have lunch with me. What wonderful students we have!

5Essentials Parent Winner

Thank you to every parent that helped us reach our goal! Our raffle winner is Keith Ganatos, parent in Mrs. Ryers' class. Congratulations!

Again, a big thank you to every parent that completed this important survey and shared your input.

PTA News

Thank you to everyone who joined our PTA meeting. Our next and last meeting will be at the KH library on May 11th at 6:30pm. At that meeting, we will nominate and vote for our open board positions. Please contact the PTA for more information at khpta1@gmail.com

Remember to join us for our Dine and Donate at REPS March 20th from 11:30am-midnight.

The 2023 50/50 raffle is already over $10,000. Get your ticket today for a chance to win up to $30,000! Raffle sales run through March 17, 2023! One winner takes 50% of the sales! Each raffle ticket costs $100.

The drawing will be held on March 17, 2023. Only 600 raffle tickets will be sold! The more sold, the bigger the pot!

Registration 2023-24 IMPORTANT FOR ALL STUDENTS

Online registration through Infinite Campus is OPEN. EVERY student; new and returning, must register each year. It is extremely important that all families register as soon as possible and do not wait until the summer. Our staffing needs are determined by the number of students registered each year. Waiting to register right before school begins can cause changes to classes, changes in staffing and the need to re-section classes in order to balance classes. We kindly ask you to register as soon as possible. Thank you for your support!
